First, thanks to everyone who sent their condolences and prayers via blog comments, emails, text messages and even real snail mail. It is always comforting to read kind words in a difficult time.
The last three weeks have been tough to keep up with and my TV updates were the least of my worries.
Not saying I didn’t watch DWTS, it’s just that it took too much time and energy to recap.
Good News/Bad News
I’m BACK with my update. I’m recapping the last 3 weeks in this one post.
I know it’s a 50/50 split as to which sentence is the good news vs. the bad news.
Just remember you can easily delete or skip this and know I’ll get back to some regular blogging tomorrow. Really…BIG post coming with all kinds of Humpfreeze fun and frolic.
Or all kinds of stress and chaos to make you feel better about your life.
However you choose to look at it is fine by me.
Back to the show…
I loved the email I got yesterday from my friend Karen who is obviously such a big fan of the show that she sent me her review even though I hadn’t posted mine. Hope she doesn’t mind that I’m using her email as part of my update…
Oh what a fun show!! I’ve really been a bit bored with it this year so how great to have this one thrown in! Loved, loved, loved seeing Helio, Gilles, Emmitt again…I may just have to watch Gilles and Cheryl’s dance on you tube again! I wish Bristol could just let loose a little. They are trying with her. I think Bruno said it well… performance takes years to learn. She’s had a few months. I loved Kyle tonight. He just cracked me up!!
I say DITTO!
Kind of boring these last few weeks but loved last night’s show with all the old *stars* back in the audience, in clips and acting as judges. As for my boyfriend Gilles…maybe I saved last week’s episode on my DVR so I could watch that #2 favorite Tango for a 3rd or 4th time. Just sayin’ I might have done that.
Can he be on every season? What about as a 4th judge?
Some quick comments on the last few weeks of vote-offs…
I feel like Florence leaving was all my fault.
I didn’t vote.
I think she deserved a few more weeks. She was fun to watch.
Still wanting them to add that “Vote OFF” option! Is there a suggestion box?
Wasn’t ever crazy about Audrina so wasn’t upset to see her go. She just never made a connection.
As for Rick going this week – hmmm. He was very suave and easy on the eyes. One of my top 3 favs but really on Monday night I thought he looked like he was dancing in slow motion and I hated the Jolly Green Giant costume. Even though the judges said it was his best performance, I disagreed and wasn’t surprised to see him go.
I do hope Jennifer Grey is going to relax. She was trying too hard and it showed. She seems to have pulled it back together so hopefully we’ll see her having more fun next week.
Such a big fan of Kurt Warner and I loved to see that he prayed with Anna backstage before they went out to dance. In terms of no dance background and most improved, he’s still my fav! I guess I need to start voting next week – on behalf of the whole family which means 6 email addresses and 30 votes from the Humpfreeze family if my math is right!
Still not a fan of Bristol and hope she goes next week.
We’re down to five couples. Who were your favorites this week?
