So glad that no one relied on props or gimmicks to tell a story in the dance.
Like Chelsie shoving Jake in the King Tut tomb.
I had to rewind to beginning to hear them describe the challenge criteria for telling a story with the dance.
I really have a love/hate relationship with this show.
I’ll start with the love.
Loved Evan and Anna best.
Also really liked Errin and Maks. And Niecy and Louis. All three told a nice story with the dance with few props.
Lukewarm on Nicole and Derek, Chad and Cheryl and Aiden and Edyta.
Really disliked Jake and Chelsie and Pamela and Damien.
Hate Kate and Tony. Seriously…she’s not even dancing. But I’m glad she got a therapy acting session in so she could cry about the paparazzi following her. Excuse me, didn’t she sign up for exactly that?
Not sorry to see Buzz go though I would have much prefer Kate to go first.
Buzz and Ashly gets bonus points for the patriotic element (but not the dancing!). And he has excellent posture especially for his age! Very much like a statue.
Random observations…
How old is Charo? She looks amazing for being a senior! She should go to Kroger to get her discount. But she and that other blonde were scary together in rehearsal. The family show element really suffers when that other blonde dances. Just my opinion.
Jake is having real communication ego issues working with Chelsie. He’s feeling disrespected looking like a wussy. No big change from his persona on The Bachelor.
No one commented last week, so I might have to stop with my personal opinions. Easter/spring break busyness?
Because another week with Kate dancing means another week of really struggling to think of something nice to say.
Reminds me of that old saying…
If you don’t have anything nice to say, come sit here by me.” –unknown
So please do leave a comment (especially if you have nothing nice to say) and share with me your tips on how to endure watching Kate another week. Who the heck is voting for her???? 🙁
On a more positive note, I said I would try to think of another reason to watch Maks…I thought of one while watching last night.
Dancing a cowboy routine in jeans. Yee haw!
