Real life. Real lessons.
Always a favorite when a website related to our school system needs to take a few more grammar classes.
Its that darn it’s again. <<
Let me just say- some of the teachers are the worst! I know that you’re not on facebook, but, I cringe when I see my children’s teachers post and there are errors. I’ve seen more misuse of the word you’re (your), too (to) and their (there) then I ever care to!! I want to comment and correct them but my husband tells me that I have to wait until the kids are out of their classroom! I guess I’m just fussy like that. 🙂
It’s not just the it’s/its, but the punctuation within the sentence, “Nothing has changed except the name, all functionality has remained the same.” Either separate this into two complete sentences or substitute a semi-colon for the comma. SpellCheck is not a substitute for basic skills.
Life lessons surround us. The trick is to figure out the lesson. The gift is to share the lesson. The bonus is in finding the funny in the hard lessons. Let’s laugh and learn together.
