“like” and “you know” drive me crazy! Of course I have been guilty of overusing them myself at one point. It’s really hard to like you know retrain yourself to quit saying them!

mom of multiples (quads no less) that scrapbooks. hmmm.. rather novel idea. I think she must have been inspired by you! I told some ladies this past weekend on a scrapbook retreat that I was fairly certain that we had come up with the idea originally. Don’t you? We should go back to Pine Mtn. to reminisce..

@julieann–That’s a good one that I hadn’t thought of. Now, of course, when I hear it I will laugh and think of you.

@Ann–”Anyways” would be in my top 5 for sure! “For sure” isn’t in my top 5. But I am now getting paranoid.

@Karen–With the words they do overuse and the negative tones they use, I would think “Amazing” would be a pleasant relief. But maybe it’s the tone they use it? Guilty here too. Whatever.

I read where an English teacher said that AMAZING was a word he would not let his students use–very overused these days. I agree, but am also guilty!

“No worries.” That seems to be the new trade slang amongst anyone who does work for you that falls short of being done correctly. Oh, they’ll fix it—”No worries.” I guess it’s supposed to reassure you, but like it just leaves me you know kinda more concerned ’cause you know at the end of the day they haven’t developed any new skill to like do the job better and so you haveta find someone else to do it you know right or just decide that it is what it is and live with it.
