I am so jealous – you got to be in the same room as Pioneer Woman. Now you know if I had been there with you I would have made you stand in line, get a photo and an autograph!! Good work though and at least you can say “Been there, done that and got the t-shirt!!!”

Your story is so funny because I went with a friend to see Ree in Denver and encountered similar crowds. They didn’t have a wristband system, just 4 different lines winding crazily throughout the store. It was so crowded that not only did we NOT get to breathe her air, but the only air we got was that from the restroom door every time it opened! (Yes,that’s as close as we got, the bathroom….). We couldn’t even get close enough to see her very well. I do have her cookbook and LOVE her recipes, though! I saw one woman who brought her a homemade bundt cake and I have to admit that I almost tackled her for a piece.

I, too, love PW and was introduced to her through your blog!! I’ve also tried quite a few of her recipes and they are all keepers for our family and friends. So impressive that you met Betsy and Hyacinth!! Did Betsy have her baby with her?? He is incredibly cute! I’ll probably get 10 of PW’s cookbooks for Christmas as that’s the only thing I’ve asked for from everyone!! That’s so awesome that you were able to get that close to her!! Your pictures of her posing with someone else rather remind me of a similar picture we got of Carrie Underwood at the CMA fest!! lol
