(In case any non-southerners vacationing want to know there are some downsides to our wonderful climate!) Ewwwwww @Melinda: Wow, I'm not sure what I would do if PhilBillPaul was as scared of them as I am. Some are big enough to require a leash and I need him to catch, kill and dispose of them immediately or I can't sleep. We'll talk about the ceiling later…I'm getting the willies now!!! P.S. I hate those things too. That is Billy's biggest fear as well.... that the condition of the kid's room will attract bugs. We finally succumbed and have a bug service that comes every 3 months AFTER one crawled on Billy during the night. He was flipping out and I would have been too. I wouldn't have been able to sleep any more in the house with the lights off. Of course we have seen them with the lights on as well - on the ceiling. GROSS! Did you HAVE to BRING up this topic? And no my kids still don't clean their rooms. I've threatened fire. Haven't tried texting yet as I'm afraid they won't come home but may give it a try now that you mention it. Eww….. roaches….
