My dear MOM decided I was going to be named Dana, whether I was a boy or girl, go figure, I was a girl so she came up with putting a "Y" in it to make it a real girl name (whatever) So I became DAYNA, sounds pretty easy to pronounce, right. DAY-NA, DUH!!. I cannot even begin to tell you what I have been called. Diana, Dyna, Dena, Donna, Donya, Danya (whoever heard of that!)anything but DAY-NA. Oh well, I grew to like my unusual name, back then I was the ONLY one in school. Just call me Dee. It's a hybrid sports car that was supposed to be manufactured here in Silicon Valley, but is on hold, waiting out the economy. A young man from our high school was driving a Honda Fit on the expressway last Tuesday (remember how windy it was that day) and the wind literally blew his car into the median and he was seriously injured. I think I first saw one of those on St. John, and then she saw them when she was in Paris and has been obsessed with them ever since. She was so excited when she started seeing them in the US.
