We watched (well, I have to admit, I was only watching the commercials) the Super Bowl and were also cheering for the Giants. Funniest moment at our house was after an Audi commerical- which our 3 year old (who we have called Crazy Baby since she could crawl) was watching intently. When it was over, she turned around, made a face and said "Now, that was weird!" Funny part was she was right- it was the strangest commerical I had seen in quite a while. Out of the mouths of babes!

Teens, can't live with them and can't kick them out!
I have two of them as well as a toddler! What were we thinking?
The calls from the principal are difficult- yes, I have had 2. Makes you wonder if they have listened to anything you KNOW you have taught them-over and over. Just remember, teens are not capable of making good decisions- it is just chemically impossible with the hormones, etc. racing through them. However, just because they can't use rational thinking now, doesn't mean they never will. I am sure you are giving them a sturdy foundation to live on and to become responsible, capable, GOOD citizens in the future.

Did the assistant principal ever call their mom?? Hmmm...no, I believe you were passed directly to the principal. :)

As for the teens...I went the dog route so I can't help. Unless you can rub their nose in it and banish them to a crate??? If all else fails, bring out the coconut!!
