Pessimists with a Positive Attitude

I’m still here.

I’m swamped.

Little joke for my friend Ann. 😉

I’m really just busy…like everyone else.

I have several hot topics I’d love to discuss here but until I can carve out more than 5 minutes on my own blog, please enjoy this optimistically pessimistic text I received from PhilBillPaul:

“My job sucks but at least I am not dancing on a corner
in a statue of liberty costume!”

It’s the little lessons like this one that help us keep our perspective.

Be back soon!

LOL!! I’m not SWAMPED…just looking forward to warmer weather! 😉
I think Phil would look great in a Statue of Liberty costume! He should try it. I hear they make great tips!

I had not heard that about the tax people making great tips. we are always amazed at their attitudes as well when we drive by. I do try to wave at them. Guess any job is better than none at all?
hope you get thru everything you’re dealing with soon and see daylight.
This weather we’re having is awesome!!!

My family adores the Statue of Liberty (sometimes also dressed as Uncle Sam) guy on Hwy 20 in Buford. He is always happy, dancing, and looks like he’s having a blast. The kids have often commented how they want to have a job that makes them that happy. Did you know HE is the reason for the city of Oakwood banning people advertising on the side of the rode like that? Yep, they said it was distracting to drivers. He was dancing with a WE BUY GOLD sign for that gig. The kids were overjoyed to see him back in Buford for tax season.

Just want you all to know that it’s the dancing and the costume that stress PhilBillPaul. He would never dress up nor would he ever dance!! It would be his worst nightmare.

I give those dressed up folks who dance and spin signs major credit for their amazing enthusiasm!

Dressing as the Statue of Liberty is way better than having to dress as the giant $5.00 footlong sandwich.

What do you mean PBP would never dress up? He “dresses up” every time he takes the girlfriend for a ride. Or does he actually wear a leather jacket and helmet to the dinner table???

I’m a little late here but thanks for reminding me of his other costume. Have I mentioned he owns leather chaps to go with the leather jacket and helmet? Let’s not talk about it…
