Rhonda » It is amazing how our perspective changes as they get older. It's hard to see it when you are "in the season." I hope this means I will look back at these teen years and say they were better than I realized…at the time. Tee hee :)

I must say I too never say Dad is babysitting...but I have been known to refer to it as "dad is doing time with the kids..." A little like my days seemed to have been....nothing but doing time! Fortunately, those days were outnumbered by mostly (only now looking back can I say that) good days.

I sure enjoyed the pictures.

Great post Sherra.

Tammy » Father's Day is always tough as I know you know. But sometimes the every day moments of missing him are even tougher…

I miss my dad too! More than words can say sometimes and it is so nice to have someone else recognize the fact that no matter how many years have passed that never changes. Enjoy having a husband that is also a NICE dad!

Melinda » We all have issues and they keep us busy improving and growing so life is never boring, right? <tiny lol>

nancy » It's really irritating especially since the girls in the house have the non-photogenic gene. The Grunter doesn't take a bad picture either. Whatever. :)

I KNOW you have a wonderful DH. My own is pretty fantastic too. I don't have the best relationship with my dad right now but I'm working on it.

My DH helps out a lot with the parenting at our house as well. Wonder if that's because they have multiples in common? Kind of requires that they step up to the plate a little more. Whatever the reason, he's there. As he says, he brings home the bacon and cooks it too.

I had a great childhood and lots of great memories with my dad but at some point, it fell apart. We have some issues now but like I said, I'm trying to get around them. Especially after losing my mom. Once you've lost a parent, I think you learn to appreciate the one you have left a little more.

We did have a good Father's Day I think. Got to be with all of my family so I can appreciate that at least.
