My mother-in-law swears by her neti pot and uses it daily. She even went as far as buying one for my husband and one of his brothers. Ours has not been used and in turn isn’t helping by sitting on top of the fridge in the basket with the Claritin and Flonase (they are being used). I am not opposed to the whole concept…I just haven’t felt THAT bad, thank goodness!

One of the problems with ours is that it is shaped a bit differently than yours. The end of the spout has a sort of ball on the end, thus looking much like what you and Ann witnessed on your beach weekend. Both my husband and brother-in-law have said, “I don’t care if it works or not, I’m not sticking that anywhere!”

There is something wrong with me that I take pictures like these and when people a.k.a. my children are crying and/or hurt. That’s a discussion for another day.

I do like the idea of family nights. We can do movie nights but no games. My DH does not do games. No card games, no board games. If you force it, he WILL cheat! So we don’t push that issue any longer.

It’s always interesting seeing your pictures. I so often forget to take pictures at moments like these. I can barely remember to take them at birthdays.

Oh my goodness that is funny. What a great kid to even try it. I bought one and had THREE kids who would not even give it a fair try. They tell me they feel as though they are drowning. We will have to give it another try.
