Ok I am on, I dont know how to do these blog things. I don’t even know if I am commenting in the right area? Anyway here goes…I am in love with Soldier Dan…wow I hope he is that thoughtful with wife Ann because then I can feel all warm and fuzzy inside that they have a beautiful marriage. I have the same thoughts as the other girls…I think about our soldiers a lot and am very greatful for what they do and also pray all the time that they can come home soon. I don’t think I would have the strength to be married to a military man, so hats off to all the strong women out there who are! One more thing I do admire your ability to be such a good friend to a lot of people.

Lisa–Dan is back home safe and sound and actually gets to retire in August!

I’m quite certain that my kids aren’t telling anyone I’m cool and I’m okay with that. But I can testify that my kids think you are a very cool mom

Thank you to Dan for sharing a part of himself with all of us. He’s very insightful and it sounds like he “gets us females.” The biggest thank you comes from my heart for all he is doing to keep me and my family and my friends safe here at home. May God bless him and keep him safe and bring him back to his family.

Oh, by the way, those lovely offspring of yours, really do think you are cool,it’s just not cool to think so. My child can say your’re cool and your kids can say I’m cool, they just can’t admit their own parent is cool. In my child’s mind, I’M THE MEANEST! (sigh, sigh, roll the eyes).

I forwarded the girlfriend blog to a good friend. I didn’t have to say a thing, you did it for me!

Janet–Thanks for kind words for both soldiers and about my rants. Mean Moms Unite…I think we can start a new club and support each other. Maybe we can give have contests and awards for meanest. Just a thought

AND Sherra I love your blog and look forward to it. I too am a MEAN mom and life just isn’t fair at our house…so I really appreciate knowing that there is someone else out there in the same boat! Thanks for sharing and keep making me laugh even through the tears.

I now realize how I missed this post, I was sick in bed with the flu!

How absolutely incredible! Where did this solider “come from?” Everything written is so well worded and heartfelt.

Thank you for caring enough to go clear around the world and help the people of another country discover the beauty of true freedom. True happiness! What a great sacrifice. I am in awe of these soldiers.
