Hi-Tech Marriage Savers

I really do hate when the TV is blaring.

PhilBillPaul has suffered hearing loss since long before I met him.

I’m pretty sure it was from those years of head-banging rock-n-roll music that he still loves.

And I refuse to listen to.

I’m not even going to list those heavy metal, hard rock bands he listened to.

Suffice to say, I’ve been asking him to get a hearing aid for 21 years now.

Thanks to the Costco Connection magazine, I’ve found another option.

I’ve done a little research…

These are doctor recommended.

Do you think that means insurance will cover them?

Can’t you just picture us snuggled up together watching TV while he wears his TV ears?

Yeah, not so much.

Thankfully, there is something smaller, sleeker and cheaper.

*If you are using Internet Explorer you may not be able to see the video link above. You could always get crazy today and install Firefox as your browser which works better for everything!!

Clever…a hearing aid device that looks like a bluetooth headset.

Because those bluetooth devices are so fashion-forward.

Side note: The Grunter refers to hip and cool people who wear these as “bluetools.”

I’m not sure if it works the same way as TV Ears. I get confused with all this newfangled technology.

If it doesn’t help his hearing loss, I’m pretty sure he can use it to develop a new career as a spy and eavesdrop on conversations all over the place.

Or he’s going to have a killer time playing B-I-N-G-O!!

Has anyone seriously tried either of these hi-tech devices? I’m thinking they should market them as marriage savers.

Which one do you think I should buy him first?

You have to get the blouetooth because if you CALL NOW, you will get two, yes two, for only $19.99! Then you can wear one too and quiz him to see if it’s really working! And you’ll be hip and cool together!
Seriously, my dad wears something more like the TV ears for late night TV viewing, and my parents swear by it! But it’s because my mom’s sleeping, so I cannot comment on the snuggability factor.

I don’t suppose it matters which one he wears as long as you are sharing the same Snuggie while he wears it! I’d think about the Bluetooth model, as it will look really cool when you use those free movie tickets to see this summer’s blockbuster “Star Trek.”

Ok so I have the same problem so if you try one or both please inform me of your choice. I dont care about the snuggle thing, when I want to watch tv I really dont want to snuggle anyway. Yea I know the romance is dead! lol.
