Wouldn’t it be great to have the type of “I can live anywhere” job that would allow you to move into that cabin for good? I’d be happy to buy the property next door. We could borrow eggs and sugar and discuss the merits of different “varmit protection systems”—varmits meaning squirrels, opossums, and racoons, not freeloading city friends who want to visit EVERY weekend.
@julieann: That particular cabin was on 5 acres which I think is just about right for distance between neighbors so yes, let’s look for a pair of cabins on 10 acres. We’ll need to discuss BEAR protection as well! Truly – it is blissful up there.
I’m not really sure this qualifies as a Post with only 3 sentences. Mostly pictures ( they are great pictures granted). This does look like a terrific vacation spot!! Not sure I’d really want to live in the hills when winter rolls around though.
@Melinda: Hey now, a post is anything I want it to be – that’s the joy of blogging. My rules…especially on Flexible Friday! There is something called “Wordless Wednesday” that goes around in the blogosphere where they just post a photo on that day. So 3 lines and 2 pictures is a lovely compromise.
I never imagined the infamous cabin looking so gorgeous. The view is breaktaking. If only nature didn’t hate me so much….
