I keep thinking I’ll blog and tell you funny things about the stress of this thing called L-I-F-E.
Then life gets in the way and nothing is very funny right now. I know that it often takes awhile for the stressful to become funny. I’m working on getting to the place where I can look back and tell the stories and laugh.
When I get there, you’ll be the first to know.
Back to the program
Sad but true…I watch and type because it’s the only routine I have right now that makes me feel semi-normal for an hour or two.
Yeah – The “Sitch” is gone!!
Enough said.

My frivolous comments in dance order…
Brandy & Maks Chmerkovskiy – High energy. Cute. Still not my favorite.
Florence Henderson & Corky Ballas – Was it just me or did Mrs. Brady and Greg look like they are the same age? The song was perfect and she looked very elegant.
Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya – Loved the song, loved the dance. They really looked so cute together. He’s an underdog but that’s why I love watching him improve.
Audrina Patridge & Tony Dovolani – I didn’t know “The Hills” had a theme song. She’s pretty but she looked so disconnected from the dance.
Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer – No one can fault them for having fun. Carrie Ann was the only one who could get the humor in the choreography of Charlie’s Angels.
Rick Fox & Cheryl Burke – Did Cheryl look cross-eyed looking up at Kobe Bryant? I do prefer watching him with his shirt buttoned but don’t think this was their best dance.
Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas – Most flattering costume for her ever. (Not the monkey suit.) She should remember to wear that style dress! She’s too much in her head and she was off so much it was hard to watch. Pretty sure she’s going home.
Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough – She’s 50? Dang. Surgery or not, she looks good. LOVED their costumes, her dress was gorgeous. Len loved the monkey suits and then called this one too theatrical?
My personal favs are still:
- Jennifer & Derek
- Kurt & Anna
- Rick & Cheryl
Who were your favorites this week?

okay..watched this while I was cleaning out my office which is probably a 3 week project. Also I just paid $$$$ to our landscapers. This was a need not a want to keep the basement from flooding. So bottom line call me tired and cranky.
I agree with all that you said…esp about Kurt..what a cutie.
Biggest disappointment..TV theme week and not one person acknowledge the passing of June Cleaver…a beloved TV Mom.
Back to my office..getting crankier by the minute.

I have loved this show for years and for some reason this year I’m not as enthusiastic. Agree with your assessment. I missed the first 3 dances–will have to catch Kurt! I hope he keeps improving as to me it’s always harder for the guy and he’s never danced. Bristol should go–just not cutting it. I was surprised she didn’t have more personality overall. Mark is pretty darn complimentary of her. Nice to see someone getting along!
If I were one of the pros, Len would frustrate me to no end because you never know. Evidently I didn’t see Derek and Jennifer being a little off because I thought they were right on. Loved the creativity. My overall thoughts: TV theme songs were hard to get excited about–bring on the rock and roll!

No comment on DTWS. Just wanted to say that I hope your valley experience will soon come to an end and that you’ll be viewing life from the mountaintop instead.
Hope life is turning around soon.
I too think Bristol will walk tonight. Sad, but true. While I like Derek and Jennifer, I just don’t think it’s fair that she is even in the competition..injuries, age, or whatever…just not right. There are plenty of non-dancers out there that could be doing the show. Brandy is in the same category, but still love Maxs.
Now, my suggestion for next season is Mark Consuelos…can you let them know please……
