Because I didn’t get enough dancing this weekend.
First about the non-dancing/singers. I think Alicia Keys may be looking for a new stylist if she watches her performance.

Personal opinion as always…but I think not.
Wow – the Bee Gees were a little scary. That’s all I’m going to say about that.
I was really bummed to see Joanna and Derek get voted off last night. Because Joanna was Mya’s stiffest competition and as Len said – she was the most consistent performer throughout the season.
She just didn’t have a big enough fan base. I thought Derek’s fan base would carry them through. And I was really looking forward to Derek’s choreography for the finals. 
Which now brings us to the popularity contest of the competition. I’m just not a Mya fan – I think she came in with an unfair advantage with a serious dance background. While Kelly’s enthusiasm is adorable and she is most improved of the three, I gotta go with my era which means I’m going with the last man standing.
Okay, here’s my rally cry.
Donny! Donny! Donny!
Everyone I know must call in and vote for Donny.
If not for me, call in and vote on behalf of my sister.
I have to vote for him because I know if one of my old boyfriends, Bobby Sherman or David Cassidy were in the finals, my sister would call in and vote for them. I want to give her old boyfriend the same respect.

Ok so Yes I too am disapointed about Joanna…she deserved to stay. Mya is good and yes has an advantage…they shouldnt even bring people on the show that have any dance background. Donny yes we all love Donny, but I am going for the under dog, Kelly has won my vote….she is so darn humble and cute and just funky, I love her style! Maybe Alicia Keys could get some fashion advice from Kelly because I also commented out loud to Joe( who could give a crap) that those boots looked hideous with that biker what ever the heck it was. I alos did not like her hair style. Ok after all that we know Mya will win! SO now when does Idol come on? I am ready for that. My first year watching it without Hannah so I will not have as much fun. Darn kid had to go off to college and leave me.
Agree with all your points as usual Sherra. I had to FF through Alicia as it was getting late so didn’t get the full picture. Perhaps she needs my help! I really hope America comes through and gives the prize to Donny because he is 51 and still dancing like that, or Kelly because she has come so far (Louie deserves a medal himself for bringing that out) I too will miss seeing what Derek had up his sleeve…And I’m with Terry.. bring on Idol!
@Terry–My point exactly about Mya. Seems PhilBillPaul and Joe are both getting our out loud commentary and I know how much they both appreciate it. I’ll be fine if Kelly wins because I do think it’s been a really inspiring transformation for her and she is so genuine about how much she has loved learning to dance.
@Karen–You need to call Alicia pronto! Those bike short *things* were just awful. I do think what Donny has accomplished especially at the ripe old age of 51 has been pretty impressive! Sounds like we may need to set up group Idol re-cap calls with Terry since her daughter is at college!
Okay I was watching but my husband Paul got a hold of the clicker and clicked to other programs during Alicia Keys. I could give her advice on her bike shorts!
Yes the BeeGees looked a bit scary…and what a shock ..I thought for sure Kelly would be voted off…so I am with you..its Donny all the way…esp since he is in my age bracket..LOL. I have no rythm so I am always impressed with these things!

Only having watched the show a few times (saw it for the first time Nov. 3rd) I have to buck the trend here and say that I was happy to see Joanna go. The few times I saw her dance it was almost as though she were a manequin and her partner did all the work. There just wasn’t anything to like about her. Donny and Kelly—well, they seem like real people, at least. Have discovered that being on Pacific Standard Time the results show is tape delayed, so I can go online at about 8:00 pm and read the blogs to see what was on the show and who is going home. Saved me from enduring the “biker shorts” or the “Be Italian” numbers, as the blogger described them in detail and I knew they weren’t worth the time investment.
Your sister must be one happy lady!!! Way to go, Donny!!! DWTS must have a strong 40′s+ fan base.
I have been watching DWTS, and was really thinking that Kelly would win. While I love “the Donny”, Kelly was way better and what a difference in her improvement!!! If I was Donny’s wife I wonder say “hhmmmm”, he seems a little close with the dance partner….hence the new “hip” moves!!! Mya is one of girls in high school who’s great in EVERTHING, and knows SHE’S GOING TO WIN!! Ha, ha you didn’t! Way to go Donny, and Kelly “you’re awesome”!!!!
