Sounds like I am in very good company. :) My favorite way to save money these days is to take advantage of all the dinner deals our local restaurants are featuring. Not only does it mean that I don't have to cook, but it is truly cheaper (and much less frustrating) than ME trying to make it at home. Thanks for the birthday wishes! My husband and daughter both share birthdays today. My daughter turned 6 and she's SO BIG now. She told me so. My husband's great-aunt turned 96 today too! He says all the best people are born on this day! My friends and I have always swapped our kids clothes however, we now get together more frequently with the clothes our kids have either outgrown or swear they don't like anymore. They all get so excited when a new bag of clothes arrives. That's when the fashion show begins. We also have the same meals (for the most part) each week. It makes it easier on my husband to make dinner since I'm not home in time to do it. It also saves us money on groceries because the shopping list is the same and I can stock up on certain items when they are on sale. Happy Birthday Scary Baby! Since you called me out……. The receipt shows it would have been $139.94 and there would have been the tax of $8.40, so I get $123.09 saved! But hey, I’m just sitting here waiting for my checking account statement to arrive. :-)
